OptiFender becomes OptiFinder: the next chapter in fiber-optic Partial Discharge monitoring

OptiFinder_Blog Post Announcement

At Optics11, we’re continuously developing our technology to achieve a clear objective: to help high-voltage asset owners detect Partial Discharge (PD) earlier, understand it more clearly and take action with total confidence.

As our PD monitoring insights have evolved, so too must our name. That’s why we’re pleased to announce that OptiFender is becoming OptiFinder: a subtle name change that better reflects what our product does and how it helps solve the PD problem.

As with all our products, clarity is key. The change is minor, but comes with big implications – helping customers more intuitively understand that our solution is designed to find PD activity, identify its source, and turn complex monitoring data into clear, actionable insights.

The move from OptiFender to OptiFinder represents more than a reimagined name. It reflects our mission: to help utilities, asset owners, manufacturers and service partners find PD earlier, and make informed decisions faster.
