We are thrilled to announce that Optics11 will be showcasing our innovative Optibarray and Optiarray solutions at the SeaSEC Challenge Weeks 2025. This exciting event will take place from May 12 to 23, 2025, at SeaSEC’s maritime testing grounds off the coast of Scheveningen, Netherlands.
The SeaSEC Challenge Weeks are designed to accelerate the development and adoption of capabilities to secure undersea infrastructure in shallow waters. This bold initiative challenges the industry to prove their capabilities in securing undersea infrastructure, driving rapid innovation in defense solutions.
Partnering with TNO, the Netherlands’ leading research and technology organization, SeaSEC has crafted four high-stakes challenges. These real-world tests will provide participating countries with exclusive insights into the most advanced technologies available. The response has been overwhelming, with 21 ambitious companies from both civilian and military sectors across all six NNCC nations signing up to tackle these challenges. Many have teamed up in consortia and entered multiple categories, embodying SeaSEC’s vision of fast-tracking innovation by combining existing technologies for new purposes.
SeaSEC and TNO are now reviewing submissions for feasibility and relevance. On December 3-4, 2024, participants will join organizers and stakeholders to finalize plans. With anticipation building, these Challenge Weeks promise to redefine how we secure the lifelines beneath our seas.
