Optics11 at CIGRE Symposium 2025 in Trondheim
We are excited to announce that Optics11 will be participating in the CIGRE Symposium 2025, hosted by the Nordic Regional Council of CIGRE (NRCC) in Trondheim, Norway. This prestigious event will take place from May 12–15, 2025, at the Clarion Hotel Trondheim, one of Scandinavia’s largest convention centers with 19 meeting rooms and a capacity of 1800 participants for the largest one.
Trondheim, the third largest city in Norway, is renowned for its technological advancements, thanks to the university NTNU and the SINTEF research institute. While attending the symposium, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the famous Nidaros Cathedral, one of Trondheim’s most iconic tourist attractions.
The theme for this year’s symposium is “CHANGES NEEDED IN THE POWER SYSTEM – for the Energy Transition.” The event aims to provide a platform for sharing recent research results, planning, and system operations experience related to the changes the power system is undergoing due to the energy transition. The symposium is organized and supported by eleven highly active CIGRE Study Committees, focusing on system design, operation, and the technologies needed to overcome the challenges.
At Optics11, we are committed to contributing to the energy transition with our innovative solutions. We look forward to engaging with industry leaders, sharing insights, and showcasing how our technologies can support the evolving power system.
