DESCRIPTION:Optics11 will present two technical papers at DAGA 2026\, showcasing how optical sensing is advancing persistent Underwater Security and acoustic monitoring. \nAt DAGA\, we will share insights into: \n\n\nOptiBarrier – our passive\, all-optical seabed monitoring solution delivering Immediate\, Over-the-Horizon Threat Detection\, 24/7 for critical underwater infrastructure. \n\n\nThe performance advantages of all-optical hydrophone technology\, including high sensitivity\, immunity to EMI\, and long-range deployment without wet-end electronics. \n\n\nOptiBarrier is a fibre-optic seabed sensor network designed for real-time detection and tracking across wide maritime areas. With no electronics underwater and high-fidelity acoustic acquisition (10 Hz–10 kHz\, noise floor below Sea State 0)\, it enables persistent\, covert monitoring for naval operators\, offshore energy developers\, and subsea cable owners . \nOur presentations will highlight how optical architectures maintain performance over long distances and enable scalable\, wide-area monitoring zones for ports\, offshore wind farms\, pipelines\, and national maritime assets .
